Caramel, herbs, ripe yellow fruit ans butter on the nose. Palate is fresh and nutty with abundant acidity. It shows the fatness of the Genevrieres terroir. Excellent richness. Very nice. 93+

Wow. What a way to come out of a three month self imposed alcohol exile. This was very special. An absolutely perfect bottle of a wine that was breathtakingly good. Sometimes the first nose of an aged wine especially white burgundy is an anxious moment. I was immediately at ease though with this. Showing A floral mineral theme on the nose, the palate was initially quite restrained. Given an hour in the decanter the wine shifted gears and went into overdrive. Precise, detailed pure and brilliant with the maturity giving a wonderful richness to the palate. A strong acidic spine suggests this will still go for a few more years but I wouldn't bother risking it when it's already this smoking good.

Carre. After poxed bottle, next was super floral with appealing grapefruit elements. Expressive, lit.

Amber color. Nose, urgh. Palate dominated by orange, oxidized.
