Kept under condition 2 since august 2009 (see my profile). Color: dark ruby purple. Taste when drunk with food: rather good dark and red fruit with nice mature notes and a good acidity. Better att the fifth day than at the first, mostly because the mature notes came more to the front. When drunk on its own there still were quite a lot of tannins, maybe more than with the bottle I've drunk a year ago. It seems to me, that the huge amount of tannins in more Medoc 2006 will not resolve before the fruit disappears. With food: 87-88.

Color: dark ruby. Nose: mature notes. Taste: red fruit in the attack and the first part of the midpalate. Liquorice in the second part of the midpalate and the short finish. Still some last fine, drying tannins. At the second day cherry-liquor in the nose. In the taste fruity notes were well integrated with nice, more rich mature notes than at the first one. I will keep my last bottle for one year. At the first day 85-86, at the second 87(-88).

Kept under condition 2 since september 2009 (see my profile). Unlike my for last TN of May 19th not decanted, but popped and poured. A bit more fruit at the first day, it seems. Besides that little difference compared to my TN from May 19th. Compared to November 2017 the fruit has lost its pureness and freshness, mature notes are clearly noticeable now. This wine was promising in its youth, but, like many Medoc 2006 it seems, the tannins are not resolved within the time the fruit is still attractive. Somehow still enjoyable with food. When kept the way I did: drink up. 85-86.

Kept under condition 2 since september 2009 (see my profile). Once decanted six hour before drinking as well as aerated while pouring into he glass. Color: ruby-purple with an orange rim. Nose: directly after decanting: lively blackberry and plum. In the glass underbrush and toast. Taste: some sweet fruit (sweet cherry), but not of the vibrant, fresh quality anymore of two years ago. The acidity is still there, some tannins as well. I guess that this wine is over its top. First day 85-86.

Short notes. Stored under unknown conditions. Nose: nice mature notes. Taste: nice fruit (red berries and cherries), nice mature note. Still quite prominent acidity. This wine has further developed since last time, but still can best be kept. Potentially 87+.
