  • A nice deep purple indicative of a young wine. Initial aromas of black fruit and bacon fat which tne revealed a green streak that never faded. The wine was unbalanced with a hot alcoholic finish.

  • Very nice sweet tobacco, wet laves and cassis nose, cab-franc dominates. On the palate this is pleasant medium bodied wine, some mild sweetness, mild finish, pairs quite well with food. 87-88

  • Some meat and clay on the nose. Medium body. Really interesting palate that is at once modern, with ripe red fruit, but then switches to tartness and ends on refined tannins. Makes for a good balance.

  • An affordable, and quite interesting blend from the south of France. I think we may have something here. A blend of mostly Cabernet Franc, but including some Syrah, and Merlot. It seems to work with this wine. The flavor profile is pretty unique. There is a noticeable amount of that typical Cabernet Franc herbaceousness, and some peppery influences from the Syrah. Medium plus bodied. A little rustic. Still pretty young, the characteristics developed quite a bit as we swirled and drank down to the bottom of the glass. Not bad.

  • color: dark inky violet
nose: blackberry, chalk, with leafy and herbal notes some licorice and just a hiint of smoking tires on asphalt.
medium to full bodied with nice minerality, dark fruit and a refreshing acidity. Nicely balanced with fine tannins with just enough grip to keep your attention. super value; nice Cab Franc character and a pleasure to drink.
