Nice nose but very lttle fruit is evident. Improved with an hour of decanting, and black cherry flavors appeared. Tannins dominate the wine from beginning to end. Shoud improve with age as the tannins soften.

cab franc prominent throughout with herbal, green nose and flavors - food wine that went well with stuffings served at thanksgiving, but better cab franc's out there for similar money

Decanted and consumed over the course of two hours. The last glasses were definitely the best, with the Syrah coming to the forefront - N Rhone aromas and flavors of smoked meat, blood, olives, and a minor pepper note emerged. Without decanting, seems slightly oaky and one-dimensional, but after a couple of hours of aeration, an entirely different beast emerges.
