Such an interesting time to catch this lovely wine. Still young and not fully mature, but surely open and giving an honest representation of what's to come. The most red-fruit wine of the night and also the most stemmy, I think probably reflecting whole bunch. Fabulous mineral components, not as gamy as the 91. A terrific floral top-note. Delightful and very long. Would love to see this evolve. Thanks Brad ;)

Killer wine. Yes its young but its a signature leroy with flowers, spice, perfume and red fruit. The intensity and depth of this wine are ridiculous. The extracted red fruit and spice literally explode in your mouth. 20 years ahead of this for the layers to emerge.

Wine Tasted at Acker Auction (Marea - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Wow, really stunning baking spice, summer flowers with pronounced red and black cherries. Fresh and precocious fruit to start, meaty and dense middle, then amazingly powerful on the finish. Great now and i can see this getting better and better for at least another decade. Perhaps the best Latricieres-Chambertin I can ever recall tasting.

Powerful, meaty nose of sensuous, dark fruit. Extremely primary on the palate though. Deep, full throttle/powerful but with pretty tightly coiled tannins very present. Leave for at least another 15 years if not longer.

A great wine in the making. It will be 5 to 10 years before I try another bottle but the potential is clearly there. 96+
