  Opened one hour in advance. Earth and menthol aromas. Rich, spicy cherry flavors. Tart cherry, forest floor finish.
  
  When first opened this had a stewy, sweet flavor that made me think it might have been cooked. Fortunately, this all blew off, leaving an attractive wine with a firm backbone, pleasant flavors, and great staying power. Mostly linear, with a few intriguing twists. Probably not going anywhere, but drinking well right now.
