Dark semi-transparent deep ruby red colour. Nose of ripe damson, black cherry, boxwood, a touch of nail varnish and hints of horse stables. Palate is fresh, bright upflfted red and black cherry with quite sharp but precise acidity, milky chocolate, surprisingly sophisticated clarity of palate and slightly dry tannins on the back end. Appealing freshness and vibrancy. Unmistakably Chianti. I could persuade myself that I can taste the effect of its biodynamic production. Great mid-week drinking at around US$17 retail in Hong Kong.

Nice cherry notes. Good structure, beautiful Chianti.
