From 375, bottled 2013. Popped, thru decanter screen and served. Pale brown, almost no red left, smells of figs, pecans, coffee, and caramel. Spirit front and center because of the lack of decanter time. Palate follows, with cinnamon and Christmas spices joining in. Medium bodied at best, this showed a little thinner than previous bottles, again, probably because of the pnp. Overall a nice colheita that was enjoyed at evenings end.

From split, bottled in 2013, opened a month ago, recorked and stored in fridge since then. This has actually improved since we tasted it back then. Palate of caramel, nuts, coffee, maple, figs, and some cinnamon like spices. The robustness of colheita ports always amazes me, but that is also what makes them so attractive and versatile. This was just delicious and reminds me that always having a open bottle of colheita in the fridge, just to have a sip after a meal, or whenever, is one of the pleasures of life.

From 375, bottled in 2013. Decanted for 12 hours prior to serving. Slightly cloudy pale brown, with a nose of nuts, coffee, caramel, and Christmas spices. Palate follows nose with the addition of dark fruits and brown sugar. Spirit still showing strongly despite long decant. Some bottle variation as previous bottles have showed better than this.

Hmmmm. Great port. Quite light in color but incredible depth in taste. Sweet of course but not too sugary. Almonds, good acidity, great length
