I had three times before, this time I was disappointed (last ratings 94, 93, 94). Maybe my stale changed, but this time it gave me a too fat mouthfeel, I missed elegance and clearness in the finish, I think it reached its peak because the fruit notes are fading, not so fine and sublime as the top german Rieslings, sure still very good drinkable

(Schloss Gobelsburg Riesling Heiligenstein) More body and residual sugar than in the Bründlmayer, but not out of balance. Notes of lemon oil, blood orange, and burnt orange rind (without the bitterness) presage a long, dry mouthfeel. Terroir: Heiligenstein, Kamptal, Austria

Noticeable note of petrol. Perhaps past its prime.

Aromas of wet stone with a hint of pineapple. Rich on the palate with flavors of pineapple and flinty minerals. Finishes on a spicy note.
