Single cork some trace of past seepage. Tasted after 30minutes of air it sprang to life and offered a mature palate of secondary and tertiary flavours. Very smooth, almost Vosne like. When the wine is tasting good you should drink it: instead it was put back in the fridge and tasted again after 24h. It had considerably faded.

Maybe I waited too long...maybe it's just a style I'm not enamored of...it's still a beautiful wine. Elegance with spice and orange blossom on the nose. Palate has clove, plum, dry earth, and a meatiness that would go with rich, red meat meals. Actually, a cassoulet would have been perfect...or savory black beans with greasy roast pork/turkey/goose. Nicely bright with a lifting finish that just has to go with food. If this wine is your cup of tea, and you combine it well with food, you'll love it.

Nice fruit forward Syrah that seemed more New World than Old World. Big floral/fruity nose, followed-up by slightly sweet bold red fruit on palate. Very enjoyable and easy-drinking, just not quite what I expected from the N. Rhone.

Over the hill, no freshness left, but still tolerable. It has a clean, pure sweaty/meatiness with no fruit.

Tasty, but tasting blind made me think more of a complex WA Merlot than a N. Rhone Syrah!
