Annual Tasting Group Holiday Party (Porter Creek, Mpls, MN): Medium-dark red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over 60 minutes. Very nice mineral nose with dark cherry, berries, violets, metals, mushroom. The palate had good texture, medium plus body, dark cherry, minerals, floral, mushroom, medium acid and medium plus finish. I thought this was quite good.

This seemed to lack the depth I expected from it and showed more oak than I care for. Happy I only owned one btl. Others may likely dig this more.

Like other '06 Gevreys I've tried recently, this is very approachable and quite delicious already.

From 30 to 40 year old vines. Not a lot there on the nose. Medium body, round supple, red fruit. Needs time.
