Starts out a bit slowly, needing some time to open up. Nose is a distinct impression of granite, like walking through Yosemite after a rain storm; palate is textbook Chablis, with very nice, but reserved fruit, sea shell and limestone minerality, perfect balance, a very nice wine. Haven't had anything from Jean Dauvissat before, but this was excellent, and in beautiful condition.
