  Opened well past its prime. Kept overlooking it somehow despite the insistence of the drinkability report that it was long overdue. Still, it had a nice nose of peach and meyer lemon. First sip had some nice fruit but the acidity brought in an overly sour note and a bit of something metallic. It's borderline drinkable for me, but my wife said she'll manage to plow through it without grimacing.

  This golden, star bright Gewurztraminer is all about finesse. Honeyed, stony notes of lychees, gooseberries, jack fruit, and a touch of pleasant oxidation. The sinuous flavors and textures are extremely clean, focused, and balanced, gliding through the palate with a splash of mouth-cleansing acidity, and ending with a lingering finish. Exudes all the good virtues of the variety. Outstanding.

  Very good with Thanksgiving dinner. Flavor of pear predominates. More notes as we finish the bottle.
