  • Opened well past its prime. Kept overlooking it somehow despite the insistence of the drinkability report that it was long overdue. Still, it had a nice nose of peach and meyer lemon. First sip had some nice fruit but the acidity brought in an overly sour note and a bit of something metallic. It's borderline drinkable for me, but my wife said she'll manage to plow through it without grimacing.

  • This golden, star bright Gewurztraminer is all about finesse. Honeyed, stony notes of lychees, gooseberries, jack fruit, and a touch of pleasant oxidation. The sinuous flavors and textures are extremely clean, focused, and balanced, gliding through the palate with a splash of mouth-cleansing acidity, and ending with a lingering finish. Exudes all the good virtues of the variety. Outstanding.

  • Very good with Thanksgiving dinner. Flavor of pear predominates. More notes as we finish the bottle.
