Last Tuesday Supper Club (One Penny Red, Summer Hill): Earth, leather, black cherry over currant, plum, a little sourly wet note, Autumn leaves but also a little backed fruit note, slight oxidation, plenty of oak spice, vanilla, caramel, alcohol warmth. On the palate it's a little more sour than the nose implied but with an almost cork taint note, juicy, fleshy, cherry, talc textured tannins are nearing resolution. Hmm. Nose more fun than the palate.

looking good for 41yo. 12% Alc. Lighweight, elegant palate still has interest. Capsicum, leather, toasty oak barrels.
Nice
