  Decanted 3 hrs. Pale edge, blackish red. Medium bq w dark fruit, smoke, some oak, floral notes. Plenty of tannins, plenty of acidity, the structure dominates the fruit (although the wine is more balanced with food). Not much aftertaste. It will last a few more years, though.

  On the nose: Tar, leather, licorice, dark fruit.
  On the palate: Tar, mature notes, dark fruit, good balance.
  Medium + finish

  drunk over 3 days. very good and balanced barolo of a simplier kind. floral nose of nypon (rose hip) rosor, dry leaves, cherry, used ekfat. quite high acidity, but well balanced with round fruit and some smooth but still well present tannins. to be drunk now and in the next 5 years.
