Peanuts, vegetal, grassy, tao geh (bean sprouts) for the nose. Palette was dilute with very no finish. Half an hour later, none of the horribleness dissipated. Generally, I tend to hold Desaunay in quite high regard. I feel he makes very value for money wines and I have tasted most of what he has offered for the past few vintages. Perhaps this is an off bottle as opposed to being a poorly made wine in a poor vintage. However, unless there happens to be a free tasting and this bottle is featured, I have absolutely no desire to pay to find out.
