  Very dark golden color gave me immediate concern. But while not fresh or bright, this was quite alive and tasty. OK I wish there was more fruit, especially for such a great vintage, but the sheer concentration kept this vibrant enough for at least an hour. It was very tired when revisited at the end of dinner, two hours after it was opened.

  With this last wine of the 3rd-flight, we could feel the rising crescendo once again. Nose was pure honey, white-flowers and I could also feel a tinge of heat (alcohol) too. Lemons & citrus on the palate, and with time, tropical fruits, esp. pineapples as well. Finished fresh and long. Very good!
