Cedarwood, nutmeg, dark red fruit and cinnamon on the nose. Palate is very elegant, smooth and seamless even though it does not have punchy weight or depth. Very pleasurable and fun to try an aged Moss Wood. 91-92

Despite significant bottle ullage (upper bottle shoulder) the colour a lovely brick but not brown. Not decanted. Rich nose. Front palate somewhat flat. Middle/back soft Cabernet dominated with beautifully complex and mineral flavours. Lovely taught tannins. Length amazing. Just goes on and on. Still much life remaining. Very very special. One bottle left.

Drunk at WClub. This wine seems to have improved since last tasted 3 years ago.......or maybe just bottle variation. This wine is now at or just past it's peak. Poured from bottle given apprarent lack of obvious sentiment. Good solid brick colour with lovely cab nose. Palate of lovely seamless fruit and soft tannins making for a very long aftertaste. A classic and worth the wait. It stood up well against 65 Grange and 80's lindeman HR Burgundys.
