M. Chapoutier at Rococo, Sofitel (Dubai): Sampled during a Chapoutier food-wine pairing event at the Sofictal JBR in Dubai. Deep golden very floral, hints of pineapple, herbaceous, big dinner wine, very well balanced, 6-8 sec lingering yet refreshing finish. Did well with lobster and did exceptionally well with the almond-flavoured mousse. Gonna buy a case.

London Wine Fair (London): Pale - much paler than I thought it would be. A very light wine with a crisp, whispy palate - lacks the depth I would have expected from this region. Okay, but too expensive.

Nice, nice wine. Would buy again and again if it weren't so overpriced...

Intense orange, citrus and stone fruits; mineral and tropical palate, candied fruits. Very complex, good length.
