Still very young but a very tasty wine. Bright acidity. Nice balance. Long nuanced finished. Various citrus tastes. Will evolve but a very promising wine at this young age. Great with food.

At Bipin's BIIG tasting Clear, pale yellow/green; citrus, sl grassy nose; very tart grapefruit, lemon flavor with subtle sweetness; body very lively, crisp acidity; finishes with tart lemon flavor and a hint of honey. Many of the group thought more sauvignon blanc like than riesling

Schäfer-Fröhlich and Rebholz at Seasonal (Seasonal, NYC): A striking contrast with the Ganz Horn parcel bottling from the same site; this doesn't show quite the same depth of fruit and expansive richness, instead it's much stonier and more herbal, trading richness for more of a sense of freshness. Comparatively taut and streamlined in the mouth, but with the same balance, depth and length.
