Pnp on my own, just to sample an appreciation before ordering at Kierdorff Wine Cellar. Hue is mature as a lief in autumn. Nose gives expressive nots as lime, exotic ripe fruit as papaya, mango and guava. Very appealing, a sensation of sweatness and juicy fruit. Mouth is not; straight, reducted, structured sharply with strong acidity and bitterness, slightly fizzy at the end. Needs decantation and another taste ine one hour.

Blind tasting for my guests. Classic nose of babydoll plastic, lime but no kerosene. Mouth sharp, full of expresion mature lemon, high acidity and minerality almost unsclustered. Rustic, young and full of personnality. 90

Nose of sweet peach, pineapple, ripe and floral. Plate is quite elegant already, with minerality taking the lead on the front, bringing the wine to a fuller, riper and more tropical back palate. Here citrus dominates, with yellow grapefruit taking the charge, leading to a peach and lemon zest finish with a hint of ginger adding to the tang. Perhaps a bit lower in acid than expected, but that renders the wine significantly more pleasurable now - with just a bit air it really blossoms. When i think of Pfalz trockens - this wine absolutely hits the nail on the head. Tropical, yet mineral driven and composed, with the sweeter notes of citrus giving the wine a fuller body, while melting into the crushed stone of the structure. delicious already but should age well.
