Popped and poured, consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, cinnamon, shoe leather, black cherry, and Asian spice. Palate: Medium-full bodied, heavy mouth-feel showing ripe red fruit and spice attack, stewed fruit and spice dominate thru the mid-palate and back-end. Finish: Medium length dominated by ripe red fruit and spice. My last of 3 bottles and, quite honestly, this didn't perform very well - very ripe and viscous. Time has not been kind to this bottle.

Holdredge makes excellent Pinots that are delicious when young, like this one, but that give every indication will also improve with age. Bright cherry fruit, with a touch of earth; good acidity and reasonable complexity.

Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Expressive scents of Asian spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, cola, and cherry. Palate: Light to medium bodied, delicious sweet red fruit up front with a spice kick through the mid-palate. Finish: Lengthy finish dominated by sweet and spicy red fruit - um um good!
