  • Popped and poured, consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, cinnamon, shoe leather, black cherry, and Asian spice. Palate: Medium-full bodied, heavy mouth-feel showing ripe red fruit and spice attack, stewed fruit and spice dominate thru the mid-palate and back-end. Finish: Medium length dominated by ripe red fruit and spice. My last of 3 bottles and, quite honestly, this didn't perform very well - very ripe and viscous. Time has not been kind to this bottle.

  • Holdredge makes excellent Pinots that are delicious when young, like this one, but that give every indication will also improve with age. Bright cherry fruit, with a touch of earth; good acidity and reasonable complexity.
