One of those wines where I know a lot of appreciation and work was put into each bottle. The nose was very French, giving off oak, zest, sorrel and spring air. First taste came off with nice acidity balancing the tannins and boldness. For a white, I could drink this with a lot of different food. Hints of grassy hillsides, and fresh French cheese gave me in. Fantastic wine! Very country and dirty. I love it!

Austere wine. Very mineral with cooked lemon. High acidity, good weight. There's also that spiciness that I often associate with that grape. Certainly impressive for an aligote. Love it !

fresh on the nose, like golden apples, also oxidative hints. bright fruit, strong acidity, good depth and intensity. but after an hour or so the wine began to show a volatile side, and never really regained its balance.

(Alice et Olivier De Moor Bourgogne-Aligoté Plantation 1902) Light yellow color; nice lanolin, light herb nose; tasty, tart apple, lanolin, mineral, citrus, wheaty palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish
