Intending to only coravin off a single glass, the pressure from the gas pushed the cork out. A Monday night transformed from a taste test to a proper moment.
In the glass, this was a perfectly clear brick red. The nose sang of dried strawberry and cherries, with notes of wild forest. On the palate, the purity of the wine was strikingly beautiful, with the promise of the nose carrying through and delivering in spades. The finish was rather short, which was only a minor slight on an otherwise gorgeous bottle. Light and fresh, while simultaneously complex and mesmerizing. Truly a joy.

93 pts

Enchanting wine. Delicate aromas of wild strawberry, game and truffles. Long finish. A rare treat.
