This is one kick ass cab. A brilliant value proposition. Very surprised at the value for money and the quality of the wine. I am not usually a cab guy and definitely not an inexpensive cab guy. Good stuff!

day four, having really nursed it for the first three days and kept in the fridge. brought up to temp. Clear, deep ruby, no noticeable legs. at pop and pour this wine showed really dense oak earthy, but with some air, more fruit really does emerge. clean nose, medium intensity of blackcurrant fruit, oak, tobacco, some dense sweet vanilla still present. quite youthful with fruit and oak still separated aromatically. palate is dry, showing medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium+ alcohol, medium+ body, secondary oak flavors, sweet vanilla, tobacco, blackcurrant of medium intensity and a med- finish. This is the closest I've ever felt to this wine.

A bit of a shock on the palate at first because it was very different from what I have been drinking. Cherry, definite fruit, a little spice, almost jammy but this wore off after the bottle was opened. Surprised to start liking it in the end and would probably buy it again to retest my opinion. Not bad value.

(Dusted Valley Vintners Boomtown Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) airly light in color. Nose is marked by orange rind, licorice, and black cherries. Straight down the fairway on the palate with light fruit and abundant chocolate flavors on a reasonably light bodied wine. Drops off a bit on the last third. 89.3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6.6% Syrah, 3.2% Grenache, 0.9% Cinsault. Aged in French (70%) and American oak 14.2% alcohol.

Wonderful cab. Balanced and dark berries. Even my wife liked it.
