White flower blossoms, chalk, honeyed pears, and spices on the nose. Palate is pretty dense and round with lychee, minerals, white peaches and petrichor. Finish is a touch short. Doesn't have the precision that I've seen in many other Austrian gruner's, but this is a very enjoyable bottle.

14% alcohol. Opened and served immediately. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of tangerine, lychee and wet stones. Flavors of apricots, tangerines and a citrusy/oily component over a slightly bitter finish.l Medium acidity and body. Drink or hold.

Let's discover 2003 Grüner Veltliner... (Frankfurt, Germany): Some fruit on the nose as well as clear acidity, not very "talkative" right now. The palate seemed to be a bit off at first but then got better with a nice aromatic palette and a well integrated acidity. The finish was a bit short, but the wine was developing really well in the glass. (4th out of 7)

Too diffuse, sweet, and a little flabby.
