good tight elastic cork, not decanted, youthful light straw colour, clearly different from last bottle, better cork and showing less age, deep, rich fruit on the nose with complexity and class, fine, lovely, palate with depth and power, rich almost sweet fruit but with flinty acidity keeping it fresh and fine, great class, balance and length, the soft fruit of a warm year but still taut with good acidity, real Grand Cru quality, still fresh but at its peak, bought from the father and son owners / winemakers in October 2011 at the winery after tasting the 2009 Grand and Premier Cru range [sorry, originally filed under the standard Les Clos - but then noticed the small print]

perfect level, poor crumbly cork, quite deep yellow colour for its age, soft, warm fruit nose reflecting the year, becomes more complex and nuanced with time open and with air in the glass, also quite soft on the palate, rich, almost unctuous, but still with the classic minerality especially in the persistent aftertaste, has Grand Cru weight, depth and length, acidity at the finish keeps it clean and fresh, overall very good but just lacking some precision and energy as noted by an earlier reviewer, not really the year for classic Chablis

Really showing great - a more tropical/ unctuous Chablis compared to a Dauvissat for example, but great balance and super elegant. No darkening in color at all, fresh and clean yet lovely fruit. Nice.

Lemon, some oak. Lacked a bit of precision and energy of others in the flight.

Very balanced and thoroughly enjoyable. Not massive or lacking in acidity as the vintage might suggest.
