Has held up extremely well at 25. Plenty of ripe, dark berry fruit with a hint of Sonoma sweetness, with pretty twiggy/earthy notes in the background, and enough acid to balance the fruit. Tannins are extremely fine but still enough structure to provide a bit of welcome grip. Delicious.

Ullage in neck. Cork was in great shape. Decanted. Not much sediment. This was enjoyable from the first pour and continued to evolve over 60 minutes. Moderate aromas of fresh red/dark fruits and spice. Similar flavors. Fresh, but lacking depth/complexity. Light-moderate complexity/finish. This should continue to hold for several more years.

Garnet and cloudy with some bricking at the rim. This was a bit darker than I expected for a cali pinot of this age. Having recently had the '06 to compare to, the nose was strikingly similar to its much younger sibling, but this was a bit deeper and more complex, although not showing any tertiary aromas at this time. A melange of red fruits that became dominated by pomegranate over time, subtle mineral, earth, and sonoma coast spices oozed from the glass. Fully integrated tannins create a liquid silk sphere of heavenly goodness in the mouth. I was rather impressed with its freshness and vibrancy. Wonderfully balanced acid frame. Finishes with a medium length where the red fruit and earthy theme continue. Well done!

nose of flowers, perfume and light forest floor. palate was well balanced with a mix of cherries, a bit of green veggies, and some flowery components. not as light as i thought it would be but definitely not over extracted and jammy.
