A bottle that was in perfect condition with a pristine cork. Surprisingly alive, with dark fruits, licorice and vanilla notes. This particular bottle hadn't quite achieved many secondary notes. The Cab and Syrah really take over and perhaps makes this a bit international and anonymous in profile. Still, quite enjoyable.

Didn’t know what to expect as this was my first Summus ever and supposedly way over the hill. But this was quite drinkable and very pleasant. I’m not used to the grape combo so took some getting used to, but held up over several nights under pump, not pruney or flat.
