7 Tasmania Wineries Jan-14; 1/9/2014-1/14/2014: {cork, A$31} The same price as, but a step up from, the regular cuvee. This has a distinct strawberry nose, doubtless due to the pinot added at disgorgement. It continues on the fresh strawberry-driven palate of light/medium body, with similar medium bubbles. Medium length finish, with some presence on the mid-palate. OK wine.

{cork, 12%} Straightforward sparkler; the rosé aspect is noticeable only in the strawberry bent of the rather mild flavours; it's dry, clean & fresh, with delicate but not really creamy bubbles, light-medium weight, and a short but clean finish. Rather nebulous, and hence a little disappointing.

Bay of Fires and House of Arras Tasting (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): Light berry notes and soft cake elements on the nose with a palette of stewed apples, a toasty mid-palette and a crisp finish.
