  Angenehme würzig-schlammige Erdigkeit, durch die Zeit verweichlichte blutige Brutalität, eine schöne und vielleicht nicht zu eleganten Filigranität und Leichtigkeit, nicht zu vergessen eine ländlichen Kernigkeit sowie eine eher zufriedenstellenden Länge machten den Wein für mich aus. Letztgenannter Aspekt war für mich der Grund der meine Begeisterung auf hohem Niveau in Grenzen hielt. Dafür eine tolle Komplexität der Aromen.

  I used Bordeaux glass and Burgundy glass when drinking this wine. I still wonder why Barolo has 2 shape of the bottle.
  Is it concern with the logic of a wine-maker ?
  
  Anyway, in Burgundy glass...it has Burgundy scent as usual with the alcohol impact. In Bordeaux glass, I can imagine of drinking Bordeaux wine with the focus and still bouquet, clean and seductive. New oak and old barrel intermixed. Plenty of charming element.
  
  Great structure for the normal vintage, tight and firm tannin. I like learning to enjoy it very much.
  Aftertaste is quite awesome, deep, a bit aggressive, fairy long finished.
  
  Drink now - 2025.................91+/100....................

  Yum, drinking well right now. Very good red fruit and tar in the nose and mouth, some floral notes. Lighter, but good energy; still plenty of grip at the end. Later, flavors and nose get muddled and muddy as the fruit darkens and deliniation is lost. Even so, still very good (but better when the red fruit showed like a beam in the center of the wine). No rush to drink.

  A little bit lacking on fruit, but the elegant structure and subtle aromatics compensated. The finish, full of herbs and berries, was long and smooth. 50+5+14+14+8=91
