First night this was popped and poured and it seemed pleasant enough but nothing to write home about. Second night was a different experience, knockout nose of red fruit and pinot spice, gliding into a juicy palate, slightly sweet, tempered by acid, and a long finish. Luckily there was lots left to drink the second day, when it had fully opened. At $17 an amazing QPR.
