  • Really fantastic showing. Fragrant with a blend of tropical fruit like guava and passion fruit, and also mineral and slight petrol notes. A complex and vibrant nose and stayed that way for three days. Balanced and delicious on the palate, comes off as full bodied and richly fruited but not sweet. Long, pungent, delicious wine.

  • Very minor old leak. The colour is a bright lightish yellow with a slightly green tinge. The nose shows melon, yellow citrus and delicate musky notes - the latter, if it were more powerful would make a nexus with gewürztraminer - before taking a more pungent melon and distant candied fruit route. A lovely, pungent mouth with underlying spritzig and concentrated flavours of melon, some peach plus a fleeting, but complex taste of a specialist beekeeper's honey before the long saline and multi-layered finish. Fine to fine plus.

  • I've had this twice over the course of one year. Very light yellow with a silvery touch. In the nose, there are still strong notes of spontaneous fermentation, but underneath there's lots going on with a cassis orgy, yellow peach, black slate, a dark and mysteriously brooding ooze and light notes of elderflower. On the palate, a weightless minerality is dancing on the tongue, this is very deep with a tickeling acidity and a long finish with very clear aromas of apple and peach. Marvellous.
