  opened 3 hours, perfect cork and level - dark ruby, hint of brown on rim; plum and cassis fruit, some spice and hint of earth, not particularly complex; med, ok length and concentration, grainy slightly dry tannins to fore at expense of fruit, maturity plateau, no rush. VGI (17).

  Fully mature and drinking nicely. Elegant and smooth, with dark plum, tar, licorice and spice flavors.
