  • Similar to previous experience, this showed much better with some air. A bit oxidized on opening -- or so it seemed -- I corked the bottle and put it back in the fridge. Second day it was much better - full, deep flavor, rich mouthfeel. Nice stuff.

  • I opened this because I needed a nice white to add to a risotto. Heresy? Maybe. But I took a sip or two the first night, corked the bottle and put it into the fridge. Came across as heavily front loaded - viscous, petrol notes, green tea and tight citrus notes. Had a red with dinner, came back to this the following evening. It had softened and pulled together quite a bit, with more complexity and depth, more creme caramel tones and lightly roasted vanilla. How much, if any, oak does this get? A leesy quality I liked with much less in the way of petrol. Last third of the bottle goes back in the fridge. Night three, we finish it off. Still delicious, even more so, to my taste, as it opened over an extended time. More back-end depth, petrol replaced with a lighter profile tropical fruits. Really lovely by this time. I have a couple more, and want to come back to them in 3-5 years.
