Golden amber in the glass. Nose of fresh peach, green apple, melon and a little vanilla and a nutty element. Lush, rounded palate of sweet apricot, orange peel and yellow apple with medium acidity and a long peppery, spiced peach finish. Really delicious.

Copper/orangish hue- surprising. Nose is similar to a rose-- light acidity, citrus, delicate, flowers. Pear, apple, peach, fully body. Not your average pinot grigio.

Tonight this is nearly orange in glass. Like the 18' this wine has sweet red berries, ripe peach, and sweet apricot notes. More full bodied than any Pinot Grigio I have recently had other than this same maker when I tried the 18'. It is fresh fruit with a persistent fruit forward character and structure to match. Not your daddy's Pinot Grigio !!! A wonderful wine in this grape.

Such a lovely wine again - not, technically, a rose, yet fills that niche better than nearly every rose does! Phenolic, gently spiced, refreshing well-integrated acidity, food-friendly and sensual.

Slightly fresher than my last bottle, but still showed some maturity, being amber, spicy and supple. Perhaps more of an orange than a rose wine - and definitely not much like a typical white, even though that is theoretically its category. Geeky appeal as well as delicious!
