2009 BRUNO COLIN les TRUFFIERE PULIGNY-MONTRACHET 1ER CRU- a big whiff of flint sets me back a bit before carefully coming in for a second; minerality, bitter sweet pear, apple and stone fruit notes dominate the mid palate and flint and minerals take over at the end. Did someone strike a match?

The Gilded Man (Aalborg, Denmark): A rich, almost decadent effort with clear popcorn in the nose that led mind (and the blind guess) onto Leflaive. It was therefore not, but it was a nice wine in supple balance, minerality, vraiment white burgundy from Puligny. And felt no lack of acidity, even in 2009.

white fruits of pear and honeydew melon. Nice minerality and medium finish. Drinking well.

Great balance with white flowers, brioche, some nutts and mineral finish. Very nice now.

Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne - Des Maranges au Montrachet en passant par Santenay et Saint-Aubin (Château de Chassagne-Montrachet): Tasting. Good floral start with fat fruit and a slightly nutty character. Slightly fat fruit on palate with a very charming, elegant finish. Good length. Very good for its level.
