Translucent medium garnet, clear at the edges. Nose of cherries and spices with touches of anise, earth and cola. Mildly syrupy in the mouth, medium bodied, classic pinot flavors but a touch thin in flavor. Finish is nice though short with a hint of cough syrup. No flaws and a nice mellow wine but not as enjoyable for me in that category as a "grocery store standard" pinot like, say, Domain Carneros or Chalone, but it's also cheaper.

Solid pinot that went very nicely with copper river salmon. Excellent value at $20 a bottle.

Pleasant with good fruit and medium body. Unpretentious and delightful with lovely petrale sole.
