  • Light ruby color. Sweet cherry followed by cherrywood flavors and wet river rock with some initial tart dark fruits that mellow and chalky tannins. A slight ash element with a bright, light palate. Easy breezy, enjoyable wine that should be popped over the next few years.

p.s. cauliflower pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza loaded with everything we love (clo clo crust is the best)

  • Really singing from the moment it was opened. Deeply floral aromas, plum and cherry flavors, with minimal acidity or tannins. Very graceful.

  • This was the best bottle of this wine that I have had. Opened and let sit for two hours. The nose on this wine is earth and mushroom. The palate is mushroom, fig, leather, dried leaves and spice on the finish which was long. Drinking nicely at 14 years of age with years to go.

  • Opened and slow ox'd for 2.5 hours then put the cork back in and went to a local byob. Normally this restaurant is packed and I would hesitate to go but I figured everyone would be home cooking and the place would be empty and I was right. We were one of 4 tables having dinner. The nose on this wine is earth and mushroom. The palate is mushroom, fig, leather, dried leaves with a touch of spice on the finish which is moderate to long. Drinking nicely with years to go.
