Quite good after a hour decant. A lot of tannin but it’s all fine grained and polished. Little oak. Just pure fruit that has excellent concentration. This needs some time to develop more complexity but very well made.

Nicely structured cabernet. Not jammy, not green, just right. Good plummy fruit with a nice balance of acidity, mineral and ripe, medium grain tannins. Medium length finish. Well-made Santa Cruz Mtn. cab. Should continue to evolve gracefully.

Like young Serralunga Barolo if made from cabernet. The most tannic, astringent, backwards wine I've tried to drink in some time. This needs 10+ years for my preferences, but YMMV if you have grilled sauropod on your plate.

2h decant. Very old world. Nose of tobacco, leather, habanero, cinnamon, ripe bramble. Not clearly Cali until the palette, when more (though modest) fruit appears. Decades of life remain.

Tasted great after a couple of hours in a decanter. Elegance and restraint.
