Couldn't resist. This has come around nicely. It is still rather primary, but super smooth and velvety. Black cherry, creme de cassis, bay leaf, thyme, mint, cigar, mocha, graphite and flowers. Smooth and supple, full but lively, long and fresh, with layers of dark fruit lingering long. This is very easy-going for Arnot-Roberts Cab. Should be worth following for many more years, probably a couple decades.

14% abv. Dark ruby, very aromatic. On the palate, ripe plum, pencil shavings, saddle leather and mint. Excellent depth, focus and length. Complex and suave. Grippy. Seems to be in the early stages of a long drinking window. Nicely done by the A-R Team!

A great cab. Lean, with just a bit of purple fruit, earth, herbs, chocolate, coffee. Fantastic with a good aged NY strip.

From memory, abundant nose of green pepper, oak, graphite, dark berry fruit. Deep and precise on the palate with a long finish.

Delicious. Dark fruit with a light sprinkle of herbs, nice cut of acidity. Drinking well now with a little air. Years (and years) ahead of it.
