{screwcap, 13%} Not muchg to add to 2013's note: Deep yellow, aging, cashew and butter, soft oak. Pleasantly medium-bodied and dry; has done well, but time to drink.

{screwcap, 13%} Deep yellow. Developed/aged nose of cashews and vanilla slice! Yeah, pretty oaky, although it's quality, expensive oak. Palate is quite aged, reasonably flavourful, with some salty, almost briny flavours mixing it with subtle cedary notes. Some buttery/malo qualities to the texture too. Nevertheless, it's quite a finely chiselled palate; it's no clunky over-oaked new world chardonnay. But still, it feels like it's fading rather than rising; medium-bodied, but a finish now becoming a bit short and simple. Definitely ready to drink. In fairness, the back label suggests 4-7 years cellaring, too; I'd concur that's about right.

Surprisingly balanced and layered. This has a great nose of hazelnut, lemon and orange zest. On the palate, it is rich with lemon, lime, orange and toasted hazelnut components balanced by a nice backbone of minerality and acidity. It recalls Meursault in a way. This definitely shows some oak, but it is sweet, pleasant and well-integrated. This is in a sweet-spot right now, and should continue to drink nicely over the next year. We enjoyed this with grilled fish, and the acidity made it a nice match. Looking forward to opning my last bottle of this in the next few months.

Some oak showing and this tends to linger. Not over showy but quite a pleasant mouth feel

WES - New Zealand - Anything But Sauvignon Blanc (LSE Holbourn): Clear and Bright. Bright golden colour. Buttery oak dominant nose. Smooth velvety on the palate. Well integrated, ripe peach notes and good acidity but came up a littel short.
