  Opened as part of multiple bottles shared with friends at party weekend BBQ. I only tried a little bit, just enough to know it's not to my liking. The flavor profile seemed off, and an aftertaste I didn't care for.

  Is there isopropyl alcohol in this? Incredibly, harshly, alcoholic with a nasty chemical aftertaste. Some of the bell pepper vegetal CF is coming through. Poorly integrated tannins and cheap oaky taste from the CS. Only the faint hint of spicy-fruity Malbec makes this at all drinkable, even with extended decanting.

  Lousy meritage, low appreciable quality fruit, relatively boring wine. Half expressive; does open up some over time after opening. Color looks like a dark Chianti. The nose eventually opens up to a quite elegant scent of flower potpurri, candy cane, and Razzmataz (raspberry liquor). Goes down rather smooth, but I insist, after a while. Flavor of strawberry but not a much transition or complexity after that. Fairly spicy and oaky finish, of fairly good length, but again.. diluted quality fruit.

  Dark color, dark fruits on the nose like plum and blackberry. Had a good earthy reduction on the nose that added complexity. Bright cherry flavor on the mouth, fairly well balance and enjoyable.
