Inky ruby. Rich cherries, violets, cinnamon, and earth nose. Medium bodied, blueberries, blackberries, smooth tannins, leather, smoke, and a nice medium to long finish. Balanced, integrated, smooth, and delicious.

Purple, thinning at the edge. Blackberry and oak nose. Medium to full bodied, rich dark cherries attack immediately, with cranberries, blackberries, a touch of leather, supportive (and lighter than expected) tannins, and a medium finish. Fruity without being a fruit bomb, and very good.

Medium ruby color. Would've expected darker given the 47% petit verdot. All around pleasing for a medium bodied blend, but nothing particularly interesting.

Dark maroon in color. Dark fruit in both bouquet and taste. Based on the high petit verdot content I was expecting a mouthful of tannins, which thankfully I didn't get. Tannins are definitely present but in no way are they overpowering. My wife loved the fruit, and I find it to be a really nice balance of fruit, tannins, and acidity. There is no alcohol to speak of on the tongue or nose. The wine did improve a bit after some time in the glass, but not by much. A definite step up from my usual fare.

Served at 61 degrees without decanting. This is a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Petit Verdot. Deep red in color. Aroma of ripe red fruit. Not a big wine and definitely a drink now wine. Very smooth and easy. Flavor of cherries and prunes. Not overly deep or complex but definitely tasty. It is okay but at this price point I would pass on buying another bottle.
