Tasted by Nubian on 8/16/2015 & rated 93 points: Color seems a little brownish, nevertheless incredible showing. Brooding nose of berries, macchia, dried pineapple. Smoothened tannins, long finish, what a bottle after one or two bad btls during last years.
No decant, on Peak but should easily last Next 5 to 8 years. (1419 views)
Tasted by jreis on 10/24/2011: Sun baked earth, coffee and a lot of oak on the nose. Very new world and dark fruit. Still lots of primary tannins on the palate, but enough sweet dark mocha fruit to push through them and acid on the finish to balance it out. Still could use some more bottle age or a decant.  Tasted by Chrisinroch on 5/16/2009: Decanted 1 hour...Nose of plum, dark cherry, grandma's antique velvelt couch, oak. Body is a bit of a surprise, much lighter than expected from the nose. Palate starts with the fruit, but then layers of intense mineral (almost saltiness eary in the decant) and lavendar. This wine got better and more integrated as it got more air. A fun wine for something different. (3730 views)
Tasted by olebaer on 2/28/2008 & rated 88 points: very nice cherry nose. red berries, light. smooth but strong tannins. bid sweet and bitter on the gum. earthy tastes, tobacco. (3989 views)
Tasted by SimonK on 9/20/2006 & rated 89 points: Color: Purpel

Nose: Cherry, Pepper, Chili, Curry, Brocoli, Madeira Plum

Palate: Blueberries, Juniper, Laurel

A Multilayerd very interesting Wine (4327 views)
