Color seems a little brownish, nevertheless incredible showing. Brooding nose of berries, macchia, dried pineapple. Smoothened tannins, long finish, what a bottle after one or two bad btls during last years. No decant, on Peak but should easily last Next 5 to 8 years.

Sun baked earth, coffee and a lot of oak on the nose. Very new world and dark fruit. Still lots of primary tannins on the palate, but enough sweet dark mocha fruit to push through them and acid on the finish to balance it out. Still could use some more bottle age or a decant.

Decanted 1 hour...Nose of plum, dark cherry, grandma's antique velvelt couch, oak. Body is a bit of a surprise, much lighter than expected from the nose. Palate starts with the fruit, but then layers of intense mineral (almost saltiness eary in the decant) and lavendar. This wine got better and more integrated as it got more air. A fun wine for something different.
