Tasted by vinhonotte on 11/21/2020 & rated 91 points: Medium lemon. A nose of ripe white peach, greyish slatish stones, almond, and nail varnish. Dry, acidic, and intensely flavoured with peach and white florals, and a somewhat dense mineral feel. Fair length and complexity (299 views)
Tasted by Vino Me on 10/25/2020 & rated 89 points: The Weilberg is one of only two red loam vineyards in Germany. 200 cases made. Opened at Salt of the Earth. Clear straw color. No petrol aromas. A dry Riesling with apple, pear and slate notes. 89 points. (461 views)
Tasted by Gemofwine on 10/1/2020 & rated 94 points: Elegant Light-bodied Riesling , Sweet Lemon, herbal notes in the background, honeyed-pineapple, lovely minerals, low dryness. Balanced, light & shine like fairies sparkles.... this is not a sweet Riesling, though it has sweetish aroma, & just a alluring touch of sweetness on the palate

So easy to drink, & kept pouring another glass....
Restock & restock . (261 views)
Tasted by vinhonotte on 10/1/2020 & rated 91 points: Medium lemon with a greenish hue, fairly viscous and with star brightness. Aromas of ripe white peach, white flowers, touch of bread yeast, almond, and some nail varnish. Dry but filled with the ripe white peach fruit flavours, then flowers, almonds, then a slight petrol feel. Acidic, medium bodied, and has that warmth of alcohol at the back. Long, fairly complex finish, of yeast and almonds. Pretty nice (329 views)
Tasted by saintdanny on 7/21/2020: Bought on sale SGD39 from Ares. Great price for a GG. Had it at Kamboat with NTSWS guys. This riesling had a lot going on. You could taste that this was made with good fruit from good terrior. The mineral notes were more prominent than the fruit. The nose was complex and finish was long. But when all were put together, the wine felt disjointed. Did not pair well with the steamed greasy garoupa fish tail or the deep fried garoupa slices tossed in salted egg yolk. The wine was overpowering. This wine is best drunk slow and easy to fully enjoy its complexities, not in a dinner with 8 different wines to go through.

Not scoring this due to above reasons. Will be more selective when I open my remaining 3 bottles. (287 views)

#2014 Vintage Notes:
2014 Vintage Report by Terry Theise
2014 Vintage Report by Wine Spectator
"My gut still tells me the Saar (and to some extent) the Ruwer are better overall in 2014 than the more storied areas of the Mosel proper, but those that spent the requisite time living in their middle-Mosel vineyards made some of the most electric and "feathery" Riesling in a long time (maybe the finest in 20 years - yes, it's true!)" - Jon Rimmerman (Of course only a very short historical memory would call the Saar and Ruwer less 'storied' than the middle Mosel - jht)
