Tasted by Muzeini on 1/19/2024 & rated 92 points: Excellent classic Ramonet style in this CM Villages -- drinking perfectly now and with good times still ahead. Bought in Quebec. (394 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 9/13/2022 & rated 92 points: One of the better ones I have had from this cuvee/vintage. (2100 views)
Tasted by KeepItSimple on 8/30/2022 & rated 92 points: Nice bottle, so far hit or miss. Nose was good from the start, took about 1h30 to open up on the palate. Citrus, flower notes. (1518 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 8/27/2022 & rated 91 points: Wanted to test another one after the semi-oxidized one on Tuesday. This was superb. Very complex with lots of citrus and white flowers. Luck of the draw on these 2014 villages... sometimes very good sometimes dead/dying (2031 views)
Tasted by Mario17 on 8/26/2022: Dégustation blancs 2014 à la Prunelle. (1705 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 8/23/2022 & rated 87 points: Really tired and quite advanced... was not corked or anything however way too old for its age. Very variable bottling in 2014 for the village (1849 views)
88 pts (1080 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 7/7/2022 & rated 92 points: My best bottle yet… opened at noon for 7pm dinner. Taste like key lime pie…. Creamy and citrusy (1346 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 5/13/2022 & rated 91 points: A good bottle, no premox. Good attack with a medium finish. Given the variability of the bottles opened to date it is best not to hold on to them for too long anymore (1402 views)
Tasted by LWI on 2/7/2022 & rated 93 points: Broad shouldered, pleasant, good grip. (1158 views)
Tasted by ttholst on 1/18/2022 flawed bottle: Lys gyllengul farge, tett opp mot normalt for en syv år gammel vin. Lukten er preget av tydelige oksidative trekk. Nedfallsepler. NR. (1187 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 1/17/2022 & rated 92 points: after my last oxidized one this one felt super young. Took a bit of time to open up actually. But after 2 hours it was really nice on white flowers and orchard fruits...perfect balance (1857 views)
Tasted by glou.sf on 12/26/2021 & rated 92 points: Nice nose, a bit of lemon, herbs, slight amount of reduction, and minerals. Great acidity with tart fruit, more lemon, green apples, and chamomile on the palate. Good finish. Great Village wine! (1289 views)
(1821 views)
Tasted by jwsmith on 4/10/2021 & rated 92 points: Excellent cool inviting classic white burgundy. (1628 views)
(1895 views)
Tasted by jwsmith on 12/23/2020 & rated 91 points: Never really opened up started to get better at the end. Really has not aged in several years. (1666 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 10/23/2020 flawed bottle: oxidized (2039 views)
(2046 views)
Tasted by pbaek on 6/20/2020: Pure, focused and intense, showing yellow and green fruits, stone. Notable mark of citrus. Expands on the palate, leaves a long mark. Understated power. Great wine. With Susanne at Studio. (1710 views)

3,5/5 (1754 views)
Tasted by Mario17 on 5/24/2020 & rated 90 points: Couleur or soutenue.
(1754 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 4/10/2020 & rated 91 points: After an oxidized bottle a few weeks ago I am still trying to see... some nice weight, some notes of white flowers and a nice acidity again ... a beautiful village ... I like this bold concentrated style much more than the style full of sulfur now-a-days (1808 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
