As described in Barcode Procedures, because the Dymo ActiveX controls are unsigned you will likely encounter permissions dialogs that need to be handled a particular way for things to work.

The first time you attempt to print you might hear a beep and have a small, yellow banner appear at the top of your Internet Explorer window:

This website wants to run the following add-on: 'Dymo Label Software' from 'Dymo Corporation (unverified publisher)'.
If you trust the website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here.

Clicking on this will bring up a menu with the choice to Run ActiveX Control as shown below:

Clicking on Run ActiveX Control will bring up this scary dialog which requires you to click RUN for things to work:

If things still are not working, the BIG HAMMER is to add http://www.cellartracker.com be in the list of trusted sites in order to access the (unsigned) Dymo ActiveX controls.

Instructions

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Click on the Trusted sites zone and then on the Sites button.
  4. In the Trusted sites dialog box type www.cellartracker.com, uncheck the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone and then click Add.
