Very dark straw color. Different nose, bready? Bitter attack, almost tannic. Decent acidity. The 14.5% alcohol is totally overblown and there's not a hint of refinement in this wine. Horrible QPR at $50.
Exciting acidity. Simple, delicious. Medium sweetness. Slight spritz. $17
Slightly shy nose, sweeter. Tingle. The acidity isn't quite in balance with the sweetness, but this is a decent QPR at $15.
Served a little too warm. Honeyed corny nose. Quite sweet and honeyed, ok acidity. $31/375
